THANKS FOR SUBSCRIBING!!!! The T-Mobile G2 Specs Revealed: 800-Mhz Processor, Android 2.2 Plus Flash 10.1. Priced at 9 Without Contract Or 9.99 with a 2 year contract AT RADIO SHACK! This video was when I first Received my text and I was excited! Don’t forget to subscribe and if you don’t know anything about this processor, don’t comment on it being lower than 1ghz! Thanks!!! So the video pretty much explains it all, and I’m really considering buying the G2 since my nexus one doesn’t have an annual plan, but that’s not to say that I will. The nexus one has a long way to go before I let it go. Tmobile has done me great ever since before my Tmobile Dash/Excalibur, it’s just great, fast, reliable (at least where I live at) and cheaper than any other network in individual plans, me and my girl as well as the rest of my family have been on tmobile for ages. 65 a month is what I pay, what I end up using is over 5gigs of data (unlimited data) over 500-1500 text (unlimited text) Over 1thousand minutes (unlimited nights/weekends and mobile to mobile), All my needs without worries at 65 a month and with extreme speeds as you saw on my other tmobile speed test video. Let’s not forget free tethering for rooted android phones and I guess for 2.2 android users as well. Tmobile was the network that started it all with android, so it’s only natural that it will continue to get better, specially with their new hspa+ network, I currently reach or surpass sprints 4g claimed speeds on …

Question by : Can I break an AT&T contract and get a Best Buy one?
I’m hoping to get a new phone soonish, maybe January or February. I have a Samsung Flight II from the AT&T contract, and I absolutely hate it. This is possibly the worst phone in the world. I’ve had 3 Samsung Impressions before this and they sucked too. I’m looking into a Motorola Atrix 2 and I’ve heard a lot of people say this is the “best” Android phone out there.

I was wondering if I can break an AT&T contract and buy the Atrix from Best Buy or is that still under AT&T even though I didn’t buy it online from them?

Also, I’ve been researching and trying to compare an iPhone 4 and the Atrix and a lot of people have said that the Atrix is way better. I would like some opinions if I should get an Atrix instead of an iPhone.

Best answer:

Answer by evilattorney
As long as you pay the early termination fee, you can get your next phone and contract from any carrier or authorized carrier retailer (like Best Buy).

Know better? Leave your own answer in the comments!

Article by Binford Noto

The new Android phone has probably been seen or heard in some advertising you’ve been exposed to recently. You know that there are Google phones available but you don’t know much beyond that. The fact is that a Google phone runs the Android OS much like a computer runs Windows OS. The similarities between other phones and the google phone end there.

So many cellular phones use the Android OS offers challenges in making a logical phone choice. Google phones and Android phones are considered smart phones, this is good news in today’s society! Look out iPhone and Blackberry there’s a new kid in town, Google phones taking on the smart phone world! Here are a few more interesting facts about he Android OS.

One website insists that Google is not the original creator of the Android OS. We are well aware of the fact that most people credit Google with this. Many people will call these phones “Google phones” when they are looking into them. From our research, we learned that the very first creators of the Android operating system are Andy Rubin and Rich Miner. They built the system in 2003 and then sold it to Google for a lovely profit. In spite of the 2003 purchase, Google decided to sit on the OS for a few years while it was further developed and improved and readied for the cellular market.

The Android OS is actually based on the Linux system. Linux is an open source operating system that people use instead of Windows or Mac OSes. There are lots of rumors flying about the real reason Google wanted to buy the system. Just about everybody knows that Microsoft and Google have a long and established rivalry. Is it any wonder that they would snap up a system that was based after one of the main challengers to the Windows system? A major benefit to using an open source system like Linux is that anybody can work on it and develop it further. This allows the company to keep development costs low and turn a major profit.

Being able to multi-task between applications is a major selling point that helps Android compete against the crazily popular iPhones. The iPhone can operate all of its base features at one time: phone calls, music, internet and one of your apps. That is pretty much the only multi-tasking it can do. You could, however, run your Twitter app along with your note taking apps and not have any issues. The great thing about the Android OS is that it is always changing and growing to be relevant in an ever changing market. Not all of the wireless OS creators can say that. If you stop and think about just how fast the cell phone market moves it should be very comforting to know that your cell phone maker wants to make sure that your phone is always useful. After all, you don’t want to get stuck with a phone that isn’t relevant for most of your contract time! With all of the options that are available, which phone would you choose–the one you can afford that keeps up or the one you can’t afford that will only be shiny pretty soon?
