I need help with my tmobile G1 phone?

Question by : I need help with my tmobile G1 phone?
is there anyway to get past the “touch the android” screen without having a data plan
i have a sim card but without data plan and it wont let me get through creating the google account
any way to get past it without getting a data plan

Have you tried pressing the home button? If that doesn’t work, then there is no choice but you having to go through that. If you press it, I believe, you don’t have to go through a data plan as it also asks for time and date and etc. and you should be able to skip the Google account part cause I did that too. And it should ask for a WiFi network if you don’t want to use 3G.
