T-Mobile G2x Review. Dual core Android on Tmobile with 4G speeds

Here’s my review of the T-Mobile G2x by LG. In a nutshell, I think it’s the best Android device out now… until another Google phone comes in out in a few weeks. I’m a fan of stock Android and this phone comes stock 2.2. Gingerbread would’ve been nice, but it looks like this device has already been rooted. New ROMS should be available soon. If you’re into rooting and customizing your device, I recommend checking out the XDA-Developers forums. I think it will make the G2x even better. I like Cyanogenmod. The T-Mobile G2X features a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass. Gorilla means you won’t need a screen protector since their material is very hard to scratch or damage. There’s a lot of space at the bottom of the front of the device. It would’ve been cooler if LG got rid of that spic or maybe added a trackball or trackpad. The camera is excellent. Good cameras are hard to find on Android, but LG really stepped up. The color and sharpness both excel in my naked eyes both in bright conditions and low light conditions. There’s only one LED flash, so don’t expect miracles at a dark nightclub. The T-mobile G2x shoots 8MP photos and 1080p videos. Battery life is great on the T-Mobile G2x! With my normal usage of emails, browsing, tweeting, and taking photos throughout the day, the phone survived until the night. The same type of usage on the HTC Thunderbolt only got me about 5 hours.
